  Hi everyone!   Today’s card I made for the course “Easy Die Cutting Techniques”. I decided to do the inlay technique, because I’ve never tried it before.   I started by stamping the Magnolia Ballerina and colored it with the coordinating stencils. I want it to look vibrant. Then I created a mask with the coordinating die and colored the background with a blending brush.   Now it was time for the cutting... I was a little bit nervous cutting in my flower 😅 I took the Alphabet Dies, lined them up and started to cut... The letters turned out a little bit not straight. But I could correct it by cutting my card a down.😌   For dimension I glued tree layers of cardstock together and the I could put them back in their place. And wow, I’m surprised how nicely you can read the letters and still see the image!  To finish I stamped “Birthday” on white cardstock so that I get a birthday card😊    

Hello again!   I was in our local gardening yesterday and saw all these beautiful flowers who climb high on a frame. This inspired me and a created for my card a frame in form of a diamond, where my flowers can grow. 😊   I took the Beautiful Day stamp set and stamped two layered flowers. I took the coolers from the same family, but changed a little bit the shade. Isn’t it amazing how completely different the flowers look, just by changing colors a little bit? I stamped some more flowers and leaves from the same stamp set and colored them with marker. I kept the coloring simple, to not distract too much from the two flowers on the focus.    For the background I took again the same diamond element and made a soft green background.   Although the combination of green and red looks very classic, I feel like spring is growing on my card. 😅  

Hi there!   This is my card to the lesson all about layering 1. I don’t have that many layering stamps (yet😅) and I decided to take the Vintage Flowers. Then I thought about the color combination I want to use.. I love the mix of orange, purple and pink. I think when you blend them together it feels somehow like a summer sunset with a cocktail.😍   I stamp the flowers using the layering guide in these colours and then I cut them out with the coordinating dies.   Then for my background I blended the same colours together, but created a mask with a piece of paper, so that only one part is colorful. I think like that, the flowers do stand out more. At the beginning I wasn’t sure what kind of card this is going to be. Finally, it looked to me like a birthday card. So, I stamped Happy Birthday in the same pale orange color.   And of course some sparkling stones to finish everything and then I can nearly smell the cocktail..😏  

Hi there! I made two cards to the courses “Boutique Cards – clean and simple” First, I thought, this is not the type of card I normally do. So, I was soo surprised how much fun I had with this course and how much I learned! Thank you so much!   So, my first card I wanted to do with the Geometric dies. I just love this form. I put the die on my paper and draw the line with a pencil, so I knew where to stamp – so that the flowers are inside and outside of the form. I took the Dainty Bouget stamp set and stamped just two layers, so keep it simple.  Then I draw the lines of the geometric form with an embossing pen an embossed it in gold. I did the same with the sentiment and then finally with the center of the flowers, to add a little more interest.     For my second card I definitely wanted to try out the faux letterpress technique. I took my flowers and made three layers of cardstock. But it cracked with every paper I tried out. So, I peeled one layer away. This way it worked better.  I

Soo here it is my first post for my AECP! Yeah! 😀 I started with Celebrating Stencils Lessons. I decided to create my own stencil with the Garden Trellis Cover die. Then I blended some colors with a brush. I think it’s a very colorful background, so I stamped the Fragile Foliage and embossed it with black sparkling powder. I did the same with the sentiment.  Then I die cut it out and putted everything together with a little bit of dimension. Finally, I glued some stones between the squares, so it picks up the pattern and just because I love them 😍   The second card just didn’t turn out the way I want it, but here it is:   I took the diecut I used as a stencil and glued it on a rose metallic cardstock. Then I putted a tulip I had leftover on top of it. And finally, I took the same sentiment, but this time in pink. I cut the sentiment like a rectangle, so it matches the background better.  But somehow it just looked too clean to me... so I wondered what happened if I’m going to put som

Altenew April Inspiration Challange Hello everyone! I had so much fun with the last Altenew Inspiration Challenge, that I thought I’m going to join the April Challenge too.   So here is my card. I colored the flowers with the stencil. So, the yellow turned out a little bit too orange. Anyway it looked a little bit too dark for my spring feelings (although there is snow outside..:) so I thought I’m going to make a playful background. I colored the tiny bubbles stencil with green and run it through my diecut machine.   As sentiment I took this great citation .. I mean who or what is normal 💁   Hope you like it!  

Hi everyone!   Two weeks ago, I joined the workshop “Altenew Scalloped Ornaments” from Amy Hill. Thanks so much again for having me there:)   She showed me (and my daughter who didn’t want to sleep...) a nice way to make a background and created a great card. I mostly liked the tip to do the word with de embossing powder.    So anyway, this is my version of it. It turned out a little bit to pale... I actually made the background three times, but I was never that satisfied.. :)  But finally, I liked it. Especially because of the beautiful flower.
