Hi there!   Thanks for stopping by! You must be here from  Tenia Nelson . Today I’m going to share some cards featuring the new embossing folder from the Sommer Love Collection.   My first card I created with the Geo Triangles Embossing Folder. And the best thing about this embossing folder is, that there are also coloring stencils available. I started to emboss some white cardstock and then colored it with the stencil with different shades of green. I added a geometric piece who matches the pattern from the embossing folder and stamped my sentiment there. Then I used some flowers from the Wonderland Stamp set I had actually left over from another project. I thought these flowers fit perfect, because they’re tall and it doesn’t distract too much from the background.                                                            ---------- The next card I made with the Tiled Chevron Embossing folder. I love embossing folders with geometric forms. You can create so much texture, add some fl

Hi there!   Thanks for stopping by. You must be here from   Caly Person . Otherwise you can go back to the Altenew Blog  or grab another coffee and just have fun hopping around.😉 Today I’m going to show you some cards I created with all the great products which came out with the  Marvelous Monthly July Series . I love all of them.   My first card I created using the Build-A- Garden Tulips and Friends Stamp & Stencil Set. This is actually one of my favorites because I love to color flowers with stencils. This is so easy and you just receive amazing results. And I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of different inks and so I can use them all. Anyway, here is my card. I stamp the image with black ink and embossed it clear. Then I colored the tulips by using the stencil, the stamp and finally I added also I little bit of watercolor.  I created a background with watercolor too. Then finally I added some splatter and a sentiment from the same stamp set.

AECP - Scene Building

Hello everyone!   I finally finished my last course of the AECP Level 1 which is Scene Building. So here is my card I created:   I wanted to create like a field of flowers, with the sunset behind. So I started to blend a background with yellows and some pastel colors.   Then I stamped some flowers from the Wonderland Stamp Set and colored them by using the masking stencil. Then I die cut them with the coordinating dies.    To create a scene, I cut a frame from black card stock and then assembled the flowers in this frame. I tried to add some half flowers on each side of the frame, so it looks as if there are many, many flowers more..   Then I stamped a sentiment from the German Label Love Stamp Set which means – get well soon.  To finish the card, I added some glitter with a glitter pen on the flowers, I mean, with glitter you really get well sooner😅
