Today I’m going to share some cards featuring the new embossing folder from the Sommer Love Collection.

 

My first card I created with the Geo Triangles Embossing Folder. And the best thing about this embossing folder is, that there are also coloring stencils available. I started to emboss some white cardstock and then colored it with the stencil with different shades of green.




I added a geometric piece who matches the pattern from the embossing folder and stamped my sentiment there. Then I used some flowers from the Wonderland Stamp set I had actually left over from another project. I thought these flowers fit perfect, because they’re tall and it doesn’t distract too much from the background.

The next card I made with the Tiled Chevron Embossing folder. I love embossing folders with geometric forms. You can create so much texture, add some flowers and you get a beautiful quick card.

For my card I made some ink smooshing with rose ink. Then I embossed it with the embossing folder. 





Then I added a white stripe for my sentiment. As focal point I stamped a flower from the Cone Flower Stamp Set with pool colors. I love the combination of rose and pool colors. Somehow it looked a little bit too naked to me.. so, I added some black stripes with cardstock on both sides.

And my last card I created with the Sunshine Blossoms Embossing folder. I added ink with a brayer direct on the embossing folder and then run it through my die cut machine. I think the flowers stand out even more like that. I messed up another example, but I liked the leaves.





So, I fussy cut them out and added them to my card. Then I stamped a sentiment, added embellishment and splatters (I should have covered the flower) and that’s it.

    I think the splatter on the flowers is the last card totally works. It’s very pretty. I love that you brayered on the ink for a variegated background.

    My favorite is the brayered floral folder which creates that highlighted white of flowers. All three cards are lovely, but that would be my favorite technique.

I love all of them.   My first card I created using the Build-A- Garden Tulips and Friends Stamp & Stencil Set. This is actually one of my favorites because I love to color flowers with stencils. This is so easy and you just receive amazing results. And I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of different inks and so I can use them all. Anyway, here is my card. I stamp the image with black ink and embossed it clear. Then I colored the tulips by using the stencil, the stamp and finally I added also I little bit of watercolor.  I created a background with watercolor too. Then finally I added some splatter and a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Hello everyone!   Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You must be here from  LauraJane s  Blog. U nbelievable how creative she always is!   I created some cards I would like to share with you.   My first card I made with the new Daisies stencil that coordinates with embossing folder. I first colored the embossing folder with a brayer and run it through my die cut machine. Then colored the flowers with the stencils in blue and purple. I love this color combination. And with the stencil it is so easy to get great results.  After coloring I put the paper back in the embossing folder and run it through again, so I got back some of the dimension I may have lost with the coloring. I decided to take a small sentiment from the Floral Halo Stamp Set and fussy cut it out. I didn’t want to distract from this beautiful image. September 2022 Winter Magic Release Blog Hop

Hi everyone!   Thanks for stopping by. You must be here from  Laurie Willison s Blog. So today I’m going to show you some cards I created with some products from the  September Winter Magic Release Blog Hop. Most of the cards are with Christmas themes. I really love this special magical time. But I don’t know about you, it is also the time when I miss loved ones who are no longer with us the most. So, I tried to add a little bit of sparkle and shine on all my cards, because this makes me just feel happy.   My first card I created with the Poinsettia & Berries Stamp Set. O stamped the flowers and leaves and die cut them with the coordinating dies. As background I took the Dotted Pinwheels Stamp Set.  I really love this background because it adds so much interest to a background and its also very versatile. Then I assembled all together.
