Altenew July 2022 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by. You must be here from Caly Person. Otherwise you can go back to the Altenew Blog or grab another coffee and just have fun hopping around.😉

Today I’m going to show you some cards I created with all the great products which came out with the Marvelous Monthly July Series. I love all of them.

My first card I created using the Build-A- Garden Tulips and Friends Stamp & Stencil Set. This is actually one of my favorites because I love to color flowers with stencils. This is so easy and you just receive amazing results. And I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of different inks and so I can use them all.

Anyway, here is my card. I stamp the image with black ink and embossed it clear. Then I colored the tulips by using the stencil, the stamp and finally I added also I little bit of watercolor.

I created a background with watercolor too. Then finally I added some splatter and a sentiment from the same stamp set.

                                            ----------

For my second card I wanted to achieve a completely different look with the same stamp set. So, I stamped the flowers in blue repetitive on white cardstock. Then I just added one layer of blue with the stencil. The gaps between I have filled with some lovely dots from the Scalloped Ornaments Stamp Set. I think it looks I little bit like Chinese porcelain.

The sentiment from the Monsteras & Quotes Stamp set I stamped on white card stock, which I die cut with one of the Geometric Dies.

I messed up on some points of the card with blue.. 😅 But I think, that’s ok.. So you can really see its handmade and I mean, nobody is perfect.

                                            ----------

On my next card I used the Always Sunshine Stamp from the Craft Your Life Kit. I colored the Image with the stencil and stamps as it is explained in the layering guide. Then I made some partial die cutting with the coordinating die and just a simple circle die.

I actually messed up the big flower (again) so this was a good opportunity to add some dimension. I stamped just the flower again and fussy cut it out. Then I glued it on top with some foam tape.

The background I created with the Watercolor Stripes Stencil and translucent paste which I colored with some yellow ink.

----------

And my final card I created with the Craft A Flower Garden Rose Layering Die Set. I Die Cut all the pieces and colored them with ink and a blending brush. My background I made just some blue lines with a pen and added a stripe of gold embossing.

Then I assembled everything together on the card. It’s easy to line up with the arrow in the middle.

Then I stamped happy birthday from the Birthday Builder Stamp Set and embossed it also with gold. And finally added some Satin White Sequins.

That’s it..  Hope you found something for your inspiration.

So now hop on to Virginia Lu and check out her fantastic cards she created!

Thank you!
