Hi there!   Today’s card I created for the AECP course “Polychromatic”. And I decided to go with a Monochromatic card as Nina-Marie showed, because this Is something I don’t do very often. I might stick with the same colors, but not just with one color. When I create these cards, they often feel a little bit boring to me. And yes, I really struggled with this card. 😅   I chose to use two inks from the same family – Dusty Rose and Coral Berry. As neutrals I added withe and beige.    The first time I tried to stamp flowers and added water before stamping. It was a mess and I really didn’t like how it turned out. 🙈   So I started over again and used the Flowers from the Bold Blooms Die Set. I colored them with the inks and then made a die cut inlay.   For the background I used the same two colors and used them as watercolor.   To finish the card I added a sentiment and some clear drops.   It's definitely not my favourite card, but I ...

  Hello!   Today’s card I created for the AECP course Beautiful Details. I wanted to add details to flowers like Marika did. So, I started by stamping the flowers from the Fairy Tale Floral Stamp Set in dark brown.  Then I colored them with the simple coloring stencil and inks. I just wanted to put down a base layer of color.  Then I started to ad strokes with pencils. I tried to blend dem out a little bit and as I put down a few layers I was quite happy with the result. I also wanted some details in the background without distracting too much from the flowers. So, I foiled withe stripes on a matching cardstock.   Hi everyone!   I’m sharing a card i made for the lessons “Cards with a Twist”. I decided that my twist is going to be a peekaboo in the middle of the card.😊   So, to start I stamped the flowers form the Pen Sketched Flowers several times in black and added clear embossing powder, so they have a little bit of texture. Then I colored them with watercolor. I wanted to achieve something like blue-lilac color. 😅 Well, I really need to practice a lot more, but I’m quite happy with the result. Then I die cut them out with the coordinating die.    Then I took my card panel and added some interest to the background with the Dotted Scales Debossing die. Then I took one of the coordinating dies and cut a hole in the center of the card, so I can pop my flower right in to it.  Hi everyone! It was about time to move on with my AECP. Today I made a card on the theme colors and color inspiration. The lesson was called Color Your Day! I find the most inspiration in nature. Or sometimes in fabric.  For my card I have taken a tool that I absolutely love! The Color Catalog from Sarah Renae Clark. I had the tendency to always combine the same colors. But with the color catalog you discover so much new and I love to find out which of my inks and papers match the colors. I stamped the Dear Dahlias twice and colored them by using the stencil and the matching colors. Then I added a little bit of depth with markers and pencils. I like to use different kind of mediums. Then I diecut the leaves from the dahlia with the coordinating dies and colored them with my blending brush. In the end, I thought it needed a little more purple. Today’s cards I created for the Lessons In the Mood for Color In this lesson I learned what kind of mood colors can create. So far, I have simply chosen the colors of my cards by feel. It's good to understand the effect of the colors and sometimes it helps you then with the color selection. I decided to create three cards with the same design but with different colors to show their effect. In each case, I tried to take the sentiment that most closely matches this mood.   I made my background by going direct to paper with my mini inks to create a mix with three different shades of ink. Then I took the same inks an stamped the Morning Flowers in each color. I really love this Stamp Set, because it creates so much depth just by stamping. For all the leaves I took the same green. I added a little bit of shading with a marker, but not too much, because the stamp already did the work for me. Because what is more important than being grateful and appreciating the people you have in your life.😊 And I also have some celebrating cards. I all created with the new products from the Just Imagine October 2022 Release .   My first card I created with the Fairy Tale Floral Stamp and Stencil set. I embossed the flowers with gold embossing powder and colored them with the stencil.  For the background I took some green watercolor and then I stamped the leaves which are actually the decoration for the flowers in green as well. for the sentiment I hot foiled the word thanks from the Versatile Greetings Hot Foil Set.   On my next card I built a heart of flowers. Hi everyone!   I’m starting my AEPC Level 2 now and here is my first card for the lesson Beyond Basics Background.   I decided to create a background with leaves and the inlay technique. When I look outside my window all the trees are so colorful at the moment. So, I’ve been inspired by them.   I started to cut out some leaves from withe cardstock. The dies are actually from the Sunburst Azalea die set. Then I inked them with my blending brushes in different shades of green, rose and yellow. Then I took a piece of brown cardstock and die cut the same leaves from it. And as I wanted to put everything together it happened...🙈 I glued it on my panel on the wrong side. I was able to peel it away again, but of course there was all the glue on my die cuttet piece.
