AECP - Polychromatic

Hi there!

 

Today’s card I created for the AECP course “Polychromatic”. And I decided to go with a Monochromatic card as Nina-Marie showed, because this Is something I don’t do very often. I might stick with the same colors, but not just with one color. When I create these cards, they often feel a little bit boring to me. And yes, I really struggled with this card. 😅



 



I chose to use two inks from the same family – Dusty Rose and Coral Berry. As neutrals I added withe and beige. 

 

The first time I tried to stamp flowers and added water before stamping. It was a mess and I really didn’t like how it turned out. 🙈


 




So I started over again and used the Flowers from the Bold Blooms Die Set. I colored them with the inks and then made a die cut inlay.

 

For the background I used the same two colors and used them as watercolor.

 





To finish the card I added a sentiment and some clear drops.

 

It's definitely not my favourite card, but I learned a lot. 😅💪

I love all of them.   My first card I created using the Build-A- Garden Tulips and Friends Stamp & Stencil Set. This is actually one of my favorites because I love to color flowers with stencils. This is so easy and you just receive amazing results. And I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of different inks and so I can use them all. Anyway, here is my card. I stamp the image with black ink and embossed it clear. Then I colored the tulips by using the stencil, the stamp and finally I added also I little bit of watercolor.  I created a background with watercolor too. Then finally I added some splatter and a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Hello everyone!   Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You must be here from  LauraJane s  Blog. U nbelievable how creative she always is!   I created some cards I would like to share with you.   My first card I made with the new Daisies stencil that coordinates with embossing folder. I first colored the embossing folder with a brayer and run it through my die cut machine. Then colored the flowers with the stencils in blue and purple. I love this color combination. And with the stencil it is so easy to get great results.  After coloring I put the paper back in the embossing folder and run it through again, so I got back some of the dimension I may have lost with the coloring. I decided to take a small sentiment from the Floral Halo Stamp Set and fussy cut it out. I didn’t want to distract from this beautiful image. September 2022 Winter Magic Release Blog Hop

Hi everyone!   Thanks for stopping by. You must be here from  Laurie Willison s Blog. So today I’m going to show you some cards I created with some products from the  September Winter Magic Release Blog Hop. Most of the cards are with Christmas themes. I really love this special magical time. But I don’t know about you, it is also the time when I miss loved ones who are no longer with us the most. So, I tried to add a little bit of sparkle and shine on all my cards, because this makes me just feel happy.   My first card I created with the Poinsettia & Berries Stamp Set. O stamped the flowers and leaves and die cut them with the coordinating dies. As background I took the Dotted Pinwheels Stamp Set.  I really love this background because it adds so much interest to a background and its also very versatile. Then I assembled all together.
