Altenew September 2022 Enchanted Winter Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

I created some cards I would like to share with you.

 

My first card I made with the new Daisies stencil that coordinates with embossing folder. I first colored the embossing folder with a brayer and run it through my die cut machine. Then colored the flowers with the stencils in blue and purple. I love this color combination. And with the stencil it is so easy to get great results. 

After coloring I put the paper back in the embossing folder and run it through again, so I got back some of the dimension I may have lost with the coloring.

I decided to take a small sentiment from the Floral Halo Stamp Set and fussy cut it out. I didn’t want to distract from this beautiful image. I find the daisies literally smile at you, so you certainly feel loved.

My next card I created with the Blooming Flower Bed Stencil. With this you can create your own patterned paper in all the color combinations you can imagine. This is just great.

I created my pattern on a light green cardstock, so I could use die ink. On darker cardstock you should use pigment ink, otherwise you cannot see the colors so well. I took some different shades of rose and green.

Then I die cut the word Thanks with the Fine Alphabet dies. I first wanted to make an die cut inlay with the same color. But ended up to die cut the word again on a metallic card stock and mixed them up. 

So, I got two for one card. I only embossed the metallic card stock with the Tiled Chevron embossing folder and I was ready to put everything together.
