Altenew September 2022 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Today I’m going to share with you some cards I created with the new products that came out today. My absolute favorite one i the Build – A - Garden Pristine and Peonies Set. The flowers are so beautiful and they have just the perfect size to fill an entire card o as focal point of the card.

For my first card i stamped both images and embossed them with rose embossing powder. Then I colored them with the stencils. This is something I love to do the most and the result is often much better than I expected.Then I cut dem out with the coordinating dies. 

I made a background with some light watercolor and splatters. Then I die cut a frame from metallic cardstock and assembled everything together. I tried to put the petals sometimes over and sometimes under the frame, so it gives a little bit of dimension.

On my next card I took the same stamp set and created a background by stamping the flower repeatedly in purple.

Then I stamped the flower with black ink and colored it again with the stencil. I took the same purple colors as I used for the background. 

I glued the flower on a purple square with this great sentiment on it. it's very subtle and yet so strong. I also added some gemstones for a little bit of sparkle.

Now this card will be Christmas again. it features the very sweet cookies from the Creative Cookies Stamp Set. First I stamped them traditionally in brown. Then i created a wooden background. 

Then I stamped some holly from the Poinsettia & Berries Stamp Set and used it as a cozy bed for my gingerbread men. I also added glossy accent on the cookies so they stand out a little bit more.

On my last card I stamped the cookies in different colors. Then i die cut them out with the coordinating die and let them fall over a glitter card stock. 

The sentiment i cut out from black cardstock and placed it right in the middle. I think the cute cookies look like they have a lot of fun flying around.
