AECP - Creative Watercolor Media

In the last few days I have been working on Creative Watercolor Media.

I tried out some different papers I had and tried out two different techniques.





For my first card I made a background like Laura Bassen has showed. I stamped the Captivating Blooms several times and heat embossed them with white. Then I colored everything with reinker. I really love how this turned out. I only added a white sentiment on vellum and some small flowers for a little bit of interest. I didn’t want to distract from this gorgeous background. 



 


For my second card I used masking fluid. I never did that before so it was fun to try it out. I stamped the flower from the Wild Flora Stamp Set and added de fluid. Then I made a background with inks and the smooshing technique. On my first examples I didn’t wait until its completely dry, so I teared the paper .. Lessons learned.😅







On my second try it worked great. Then I colored everything with inks. I added a sentiment which means: Because you’re always here for me.

I love all of them.   My first card I created using the Build-A- Garden Tulips and Friends Stamp & Stencil Set. This is actually one of my favorites because I love to color flowers with stencils. This is so easy and you just receive amazing results. And I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of different inks and so I can use them all. Anyway, here is my card. I stamp the image with black ink and embossed it clear. Then I colored the tulips by using the stencil, the stamp and finally I added also I little bit of watercolor.  I created a background with watercolor too. Then finally I added some splatter and a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Hello everyone!   Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You must be here from  LauraJane s  Blog. U nbelievable how creative she always is!   I created some cards I would like to share with you.   My first card I made with the new Daisies stencil that coordinates with embossing folder. I first colored the embossing folder with a brayer and run it through my die cut machine. Then colored the flowers with the stencils in blue and purple. I love this color combination. And with the stencil it is so easy to get great results.  After coloring I put the paper back in the embossing folder and run it through again, so I got back some of the dimension I may have lost with the coloring. I decided to take a small sentiment from the Floral Halo Stamp Set and fussy cut it out. I didn’t want to distract from this beautiful image. Today I’m going to share some cards featuring the new embossing folder from the Sommer Love Collection.   My first card I created with the Geo Triangles Embossing Folder. And the best thing about this embossing folder is, that there are also coloring stencils available. I started to emboss some white cardstock and then colored it with the stencil with different shades of green. I added a geometric piece who matches the pattern from the embossing folder and stamped my sentiment there. Then I used some flowers from the Wonderland Stamp set I had actually left over from another project.
