AECP - Irresistible Inking Techniques

Today’s card I created for the lessons “Irresistible Inking Techniques”.

I tried to use a few of the techniques showed.


 


I started to create a background with a brayer. I took “Parrot”, a green and bright color, because a wanted to create a fresh summer card, as we have in Switzerland now. Everything is green and blooming outside; this inspires me so much. Then I added some splatter.. I even didn’t make such a big mess.😅 I love how the background looks so artsy and as If it took hours to create.😆


 

Then I stamped some flowers from the Wispy Joy Stamp set and embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I started to paint them with my inks. I tried it already a few times ago, but I didn’t feel that comfortable like with watercolor. So, I need to practice more.


 


Then I die cut them with the coordinating dies. For dimension I glued die cuts together. Then I added them on a circle witch I stamped and die cutfrom the Floral Halos Stamp Set.

 

As sentiment I stamped Thank You in German. And of course a few water drops for embellishment so it looks even fresher.

I love all of them.   My first card I created using the Build-A- Garden Tulips and Friends Stamp & Stencil Set. This is actually one of my favorites because I love to color flowers with stencils. This is so easy and you just receive amazing results. And I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of different inks and so I can use them all. Anyway, here is my card. I stamp the image with black ink and embossed it clear. Then I colored the tulips by using the stencil, the stamp and finally I added also I little bit of watercolor.  I created a background with watercolor too. Then finally I added some splatter and a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Hello everyone!   Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You must be here from  LauraJane s  Blog. U nbelievable how creative she always is!   I created some cards I would like to share with you.   My first card I made with the new Daisies stencil that coordinates with embossing folder. I first colored the embossing folder with a brayer and run it through my die cut machine. Then colored the flowers with the stencils in blue and purple. I love this color combination. And with the stencil it is so easy to get great results.  After coloring I put the paper back in the embossing folder and run it through again, so I got back some of the dimension I may have lost with the coloring. I decided to take a small sentiment from the Floral Halo Stamp Set and fussy cut it out. I didn’t want to distract from this beautiful image. Hi everyone!   Thanks for stopping by. You must be here from  Laurie Willison s Blog. So today I’m going to show you some cards I created with some products from the  September Winter Magic Release Blog Hop. Most of the cards are with Christmas themes. I really love this special magical time. But I don’t know about you, it is also the time when I miss loved ones who are no longer with us the most. So, I tried to add a little bit of sparkle and shine on all my cards, because this makes me just feel happy.   My first card I created with the Poinsettia & Berries Stamp Set. O stamped the flowers and leaves and die cut them with the coordinating dies. As background I took the Dotted Pinwheels Stamp Set.  I really love this background because it adds so much interest to a background and its also very versatile. Then I assembled all together.
