AECP - Easy Ink Blending Techniques

Hello!

 

Today I made my card for the Easy Ink Blending course.

I tried to make my blending slowly and patient... well not one of my strengths.😅


I created a soft ink blending, which faded on the top of my card.


 




The flowers I made with the faux watercolor technique. I stamped some flowers from the Choral Charm Stamp set and heat embossed them white. Then I blended them with ink and added more water and ink. Finally, I die cut them out. 


They look nice but I think this technique looks much better, if you don’t cut the pieces out and do it directly on paper.

 





To add a little more interest, I die cut a frame from white cardstock and then I assembled everything together.

 

I love the sentiment “Trust the timing of your life” from the Spider Mums Stamp set. Such a beautiful message, to have faith in everything that happens. Not always easy. But hey, life guided me to Altenew and now I’m happily doing my AECP! 😂

I love all of them.   My first card I created using the Build-A- Garden Tulips and Friends Stamp & Stencil Set. This is actually one of my favorites because I love to color flowers with stencils. This is so easy and you just receive amazing results. And I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of different inks and so I can use them all. Anyway, here is my card. I stamp the image with black ink and embossed it clear. Then I colored the tulips by using the stencil, the stamp and finally I added also I little bit of watercolor.  I created a background with watercolor too. Then finally I added some splatter and a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Hello everyone!   Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You must be here from  LauraJane s  Blog. U nbelievable how creative she always is!   I created some cards I would like to share with you.   My first card I made with the new Daisies stencil that coordinates with embossing folder. I first colored the embossing folder with a brayer and run it through my die cut machine. Then colored the flowers with the stencils in blue and purple. I love this color combination. And with the stencil it is so easy to get great results.  After coloring I put the paper back in the embossing folder and run it through again, so I got back some of the dimension I may have lost with the coloring. I decided to take a small sentiment from the Floral Halo Stamp Set and fussy cut it out. I didn’t want to distract from this beautiful image. Today I’m going to share some cards featuring the new embossing folder from the Sommer Love Collection.   My first card I created with the Geo Triangles Embossing Folder. And the best thing about this embossing folder is, that there are also coloring stencils available. I started to emboss some white cardstock and then colored it with the stencil with different shades of green. I added a geometric piece who matches the pattern from the embossing folder and stamped my sentiment there. Then I used some flowers from the Wonderland Stamp set I had actually left over from another project.
